TWINFEST EDMONTON
Twinfest is an annual schedule of workshops, celebration and a festival with the collaboration of various community organisations and the creative arts in Alberta to address the mental, emotional and social well-being of multiple births families. Read about Twinfest here.
MULTIPLES DAZE
An annual event that celebrates National Multiple Births Awareness day in Canada with various activities for families of multiples, twin clubs, their friends and the general public.
OUSTANDING MULTIPLES AWARDS
Awardees are nominated from Multiple Birth personalities (twin, triplets, quad, or quint, both young or old) or Multiple Birth Families who represent an inspiring account of positive social, cultural, scientific, and economic change in their community to celebrate National Multiple Births Awareness Day in Canada, May 28.
TWIN-ANALYTICS
Mental Wellbeing Conference for Multiple Births Families & Support Workers
A program organised biannually to draw attention to and make tangible the impact of multiple births on the emotional, mental and social health of both parents and siblings in a way which cannot be manipulated to portray just (any) one viewpoint to help create more encompassing support networks and systems.
PARADE & FESTIVAL
This annual parade and festival celebrates the fascination of multiple births cultures from around the world and helps raise funds for research to explore better options, networks and solutions for the emotional, social and mental wellbeing of multiple birth families.

The Black Impact Alliance Foundation of Beaumont was founded by TKOFCD in Spring 2023.

BEYOND THE DECADE
The Beyond the Decade is a coalition brought together by TKOFCD in 2022 to redeem and celebrate the International Decade for People of African Descent ending in 2024, and to educate and equip the African Diaspora to dictate our own future beyond the Decade.
AFRICAN DIASPORA NONPROFIT NETWORK (ADNN)
The ADNN collaborative group started with a vision meeting of African Diaspora non-profits representatives and community members spearheaded by Flora Trebi-Ollennu of the Trebi Kuma Ollennu Foundation for Community Development, October 2019. The non-profits who participated were Nile Valley Foundation, Sihle-sizwe Vineyard Organisation, Everyday Love Ministries, Efficiency Solutions, members of the Ivory Coast, Ghanaian, Trinidadian, and Cameroonian communities. The purpose was to investigate challenges of small to medium sized Africa Diaspora-led non-profits in Greater Edmonton. The articulated challenge was two-fold: underfunding and lack of collaboration. Therefore finding a common ground to address community issues by broadening understanding and awareness of the issues, fostering new partnerships, and collaboratively developing and implementing projects were identified as the way forward.

Also, the disproportionate impact of the Covid-19 pandemic created a collective awareness of the health and economic vulnerability of the African Diaspora Community. It also exposed the collective crisis of sustainability and effectiveness of African-Diaspora-led non-profits caught in systemic underfunding. The need for African Diaspora led organisations to come together in solidarity to transform their community became an urgency.
In response to this, TKOFCD registered the African Diaspora Non-profits in in 2021 as an official voice and hub to promote collaboration and build capacity needed to impact the community constructively.

The African Diaspora Non-Profit Network has since received funding from the City of Edmonton to undertake a research project: System Mapping of African Diaspora Non-profits to Promote Collaboration.

AFRICA DIASPORA COVID-19
RESPONSE COALITION
The AFRICAN DIASPORA COVID-19 RESPONSE COALITION started with a vision meeting of African Diaspora non-profit representatives and community members in Edmonton in response to the Covid-19 crises in March 2020, which was spearheaded by Nii Koney of Nile Valley Foundation. TKOFCD was one of the key members.

Through the Covid-19 crises the Coalition delivered humanitarian aid to thousands of African Diaspora members in the community weekly as well mental wellbeing programs.
